John "Kozmo" Kosloskey lives in Bellaire, MI and was an integral part of the late 60s early 70s Detroit rock scene. He was a member of the band "Frut" and played with the likes of Ted Nugent, the MC5, the Stooges and Iggy Pop, Chuck Berry, and many more. He had lot's of awesome stories (he hung out with Pinky Tuscadero ... how cool is that?!) and I really enjoyed our conversation.

“Bands would come in and be threatened by the MC5’s music and the energy they had they would come in and didn’t want to go on stage afterwords because they were so bad ass a lot of bands were fearful of playing with the MC5 because they were so high energy”
American patriot Ted Nugent avoiding the Vietnam war:
“He ran himself down for two weeks, did drugs, crapped his pants and all sorts of things and went down to the draft board and got 4F-ed.”
Why the Detroit music scene was so different form the rest of the world in the late 60s:
"Becasue we were from Detroit. We didn't have to wear flowers in our hair we gave them to our girlfriends."
